The difference between laser cartridges and ink cartridges is in the material that is used. The inkjet printers use liquid, while the toner cartridge used in a laser printer is powder. Numerous manufacturers use various polymers and formulas to produce a toner slab, then pelletize or break it and turn it into a powder form. The main advantage in using ink toner cartridges is the more extensive use you will get out of the laser printer and toner over the liquid ink.
